Our bodies naturally respond to stress via our fight or flight reaction. However, being in a prolonged state of agitation may result in a myriad of ailments to the physical body as well as debilitating effects to the mental and emotional wellbeing.
Meditation affects the body in exactly the opposite manner as stress by restoring it to a calm satate thus enabling the body to repair itself. Meditation helps to reverse the body’s respnse to stress. When you meditate you clear away the information overload that builds up everyday and contributes to stress.
Essential oils have many uses including calming stress and anxiety. The emotional therapy that essential oils can give depends on the type of oil that is used. Essential Oils take you on a sensory journey that can instantly sooth and balance both mind and body.
